We are extremely proud and honoured to be asked by Kevin Campbell’s family to be an ambassador for the Kevin Campbell Foundation.

As a footballer, Kevin’s impact on Everton Football Club was enormous. His goals on arrival in 1999 were hugely influential in ensuring the Club retained top flight status, including scoring a memorable winning goal in the Merseyside derby which contributed to him cementing his status as an Everton hero in the hearts and minds of every Evertonian.

Off the pitch, the strength and depth of connection between Kevin and Evertonians was just as strong. His humility, willingness to find time for everyone he met, combined with boundless energy and positivity helped form an unbreakable bond and meant that he will forever be admired, respected and loved.

In November 2023, Kevin joined Evertonians from across North America in an online Q&A session at which he shared his experiences of life at Everton. The affection for Everton and Evertonians shone through and the event left a lasting impression with everyone involved.

As a network of 45 supporter groups, we’re now looking forward to supporting the Kevin Campbell Foundation, it’s work and in preserving the legacy of a wonderful human being.
