I couldn’t help but become a gooner when my primary school backed onto the old Highbury Stadium! My house was nearby in Adolpus Road, so every day, I had Arsenal as part of my point of reference in my community. My mother also worked locally in the community and was also a big Arsenal supporter – she still lives 10 minutes from the stadium!

As a youngster, I saw Charlie George, and I was in awe at meeting one of my football idols. Over the years, I have met various Arsenal legends like Theirry Henry, so there has always been a strong affiliation with Arsenal and its players, whether former or current.

When I heard about the sad passing of Arsenal legend Kevin Campbell and the aims of the Foundation, I really wanted to get involved.

I was introduced to the family, and I was honoured when I was asked to become an Ambassador. I look forward to helping the charity achieve some of its aims and goals, and I am excited about seeing how it supports the community.
