Arsenal Legend, Lee Dixon

Kevin Campbell, Paul Davis, David Rocastle and Lee Dixon, wearing red and white Arsenal shirts and scarves, celebrate holding the Division One trophy, draped with an "Arsenal F.C." cap, in a stadium.

Well, what can I say about Super Kev? Firstly he was my friend. He was always there for me. I arrived at the club around the time Kevin was breaking into the team. We instantly hit it off. He literally became my protector. Even though I was the elder statesman, Kevin always had my back on and off the pitch. He was an absolute diamond on and off the pitch too.

He always said to me that I would play until I was 40. I made 38. And he said it was all down to him as he did all my running for me. He may have had a point! Thanks, buddy.

I never once had to ask Rambo to do anything on the pitch. He just knew. He was such an intelligent player. Naturally strong. An absolute gem to play with and a nightmare for any opposition who dared get in his way

Anyone who had the luck in life to bump into Super Kev never forget it. He will forever live in my heart. Thank you for sharing some of your life with me big man.

Gooners forever.

Lee Dixon
