When I was first signed by Arsenal in 1990, Kevin went out of his way to make me feel at home and one of the team.

I wasn’t confident with my English. Kevin took me under his wing and invited me and my family out to dinner with him and his wife.  I remember Kevin and Michael Thomas took me to Brixton! I was a little worried as I had heard about the reputation of the area, but it was a lovely experience. It was such a colourful vibrant area, and I discovered a part of London I would not have normally got the opportunity to.

When Kevin’s family asked me to be one of the Ambassadors for The Foundation, I was honoured. 

Such a special person like Kevin was, should have a legacy to him
