AISA - Arsenal Independent Supporters Association
AISA (the Arsenal Independent Supporters’ Association) is very proud to be an ambassador for the Kevin Campbell Foundation.
We all share special memories of Kevin’s time at the club – my one is the hattrick he scored at Swindon as Arsenal won 0-4, just before Christmas in 1993. For the Gunners pub in Highbury, it was when Kevin dropped in to say ‘hello’ shortly before his very sad and untimely passing. And there are so many other memories. A player who won an FA Cup and League Cup double (1993) and a European cup (European Cup Winners’ Cup, 1994) had to be special, and Kevin was that, and more. Mention his name to Arsenal supporters and, odds on, they’ll regale you with a verse or two of ‘Sooper Kev….’
So we were very proud to be associated with helping you continue with the work he had been doing, his humanitarian work and supporting communities, improving the lives of children and young people.
We at AISA play an active role in our community, raising funds for our chosen charities, and working at the matchday Arsenal/Islington Foodbank, and with Arsenal in the Community, where we are currently engaged in a project highlighting ‘Stride On’ – walking football for men with prostate cancer.
We look forward to advancing the work of the Kevin Campbell Foundation with our members and all Arsenal supporters and raising funds to help you continue your work.
